About
A bit about me
I'm fascinated by well-crafted systems from backend architectures and
distributed services to compilers and operating systems. When I
encounter something masterfully crafted, I like to take it apart in
thought tracing its workings, weighing its trade-offs, and reimagining
how it could be built. Lately, I've been drawn to the overlap between
systems programming, language runtimes, backend efficiency, and
low-level internals.
What I'm Exploring
- • Sora – building a modern operating system for RISC-V in Rust.
- • Crafting interpreters in Zig.
- • Exploring Golang internals and performance profiling.
- • Learning the LLVM toolchain and compiler internals.
Instruments of Craft
I'm not tied to any one tool or framework, I'm tied to solving problems. The stack I use changes with the context, but the drive to understand and shape systems stays the same. If something frustrates me or I don't understand how it works, I'll dig into it until I do. That's how most of my projects start.
This site is mainly a notebook for my ideas and experiments. If you're into operating systems, compilers, performance tuning, or simply appreciate the craft of software, you might find something here worth your time. And if you do, I'd love to hear from you.
